These creatures are my interpretation of traditional Chinese mythical beasts. I enjoyed researching ancient examples and infusing originality into my own design.
Wall Fountain
This is a wall fountain I designed and carved for the backyard of a townhouse on the Upper East Side in Manhattan.
I am a stone carver. I received my training 20 years ago at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, in a unique program that offered paid apprenticeships in the very challenging craft of stone masonry.
